I've had a long-standing hand problem since the early 1990s, which has progressively worsened despite various treatments including hand therapy and cortisone injections. I've been checked for carpal tunnel and nerve damage, with normal results. I've also had X-rays and an MRI, both showing normal findings. Despite using compression gloves and thumb stabilizers, I still experience significant pain, especially when not wearing these supports. Is there anything else I could investigate to actually fix the problem, rather than just managing the pain?

I fell on my back on an outside concrete staircase. I am a 59-year-old male with no current medications and no significant medical history. I did not hit my head, but I experienced pain in my back and a little tingling in my left arm. I was frozen for a while after the fall but eventually stood up and walked. Should I go to a hospital for a check-up?

I have been experiencing a fever, headache, and sore throat for 2 days after interacting with a stray cat (no biting or scratching). I also had body aches, shivering, and a fever of 100.4F, which has fluctuated. I took Advil to manage the symptoms. I am concerned about the possibility of a viral infection or something related to the cat. What could be causing these symptoms and what should I do?
