I have a range of neurological symptoms including constant full-body tremors, severe migraines, shock waves in my neck and spine, burning sensations in my head, tingling in my limbs, muscle spasms, short-term memory loss, and weakness. I have had normal MRI results for both my brain and spine, despite experiencing spinal cord swelling. I have been dismissed by multiple neurologists who refuse additional tests and accuse me of faking my symptoms. I believe I may have Multiple Sclerosis due to some symptoms matching, but I'm unsure. How can I get the necessary tests (EMG and spinal tap) ordered, and can MRI results be affected by factors such as timing, steroids, and antibiotics?

My father is a recovering alcoholic with pancytopenia and myelosuppression. I found a hospital rehab facility, JW Sommer in Sheffield AL, but I'm worried about him getting an infection, especially during this time of year. Am I being overprotective?

I was just diagnosed with cellulitis in my left hand, specifically the thumb joint. It is swollen, red, and painful, and my thumb is not mobile. I have previously had cellulitis in my right lower leg and was treated with amoxicillin for 20 days. I was recently prescribed Bactrim, but I also have amoxicillin and Keflex on hand. Which antibiotic is the best to treat this current bout of cellulitis? Additionally, I had acupuncture on my thumb joint a few days before the onset of symptoms. Could this have contributed to the cellulitis, and am I more susceptible to getting it again since I've had it before?

I am 5'4" and 100 pounds. I am scared I am going to die of starvation. I am 23 years old, have high levels of anxiety, and my stomach is always in knots, making it difficult to tell if I am hungry. I didn't eat for about three days, don't drink enough fluids, and have elevated thyroid hormones. What should I do?

I have a lump on the side of my neck, noticed exactly a week ago. It's on one side, about three to four finger widths below the ear, and is about the size of a fingertip. I have joint pains due to arthritis but no unintentional weight loss, fever, or anemia. I haven't seen a doctor yet and am seeking a second opinion. What could this lump be, and should I be concerned or monitor it?
