I have a severe ear infection in both ears that started with one ear and has now spread to the other. The ears are swollen shut, painful, and discharging. I cannot hear, and the pain is constant with occasional jolts. I am taking Tylenol and Nyquil, but they are not helping. Should I go to the ER?

10 days ago, I went to a concert and drank excessively. The next morning, I woke up hungover and have been experiencing intermittent headaches in the back of my head, near the neck area, ever since. This is similar to a previous incident about 5 years ago where I had a lingering headache for two weeks after heavy drinking. What could this be and should I be concerned?
