My husband has almost stopped talking and engaging in conversation, often responds with 'I don't know,' watches the same episodes of Andy Griffith repeatedly, walks slowly with a scoot, eats very little and the same foods repeatedly, stopped shaving, and avoids grooming. He is getting weaker and can hardly talk above a whisper. We've been to a doctor who prescribed carbidopa/levodopa and folic acid, but he sometimes doesn't take the medication. He gets B12 shots due to low red or white blood cells. He only leaves the house for doctor visits and spends most of his day in bed. What could be causing these symptoms and what should we do?

I occasionally get small cuts in my mouth that are not painful and I only notice when I run my tongue over them. What could be the cause of this, and could it be related to a vitamin deficiency, especially since I am a vegetarian?

My white blood count has been consistently high for 4 years, and my doctor hasn't addressed this issue. Is this normal, and what should I do about it?

There's something wrong with my throat. Twice now when I've swallowed, something on the upper left side has popped out of place and doesn't pop back into place until I swallow several times, which causes excruciating pain each time. It seems to happen if I turn or tilt my head at an odd angle, and it feels as though whatever popped out of place hasn't fully popped back in this time. Each time I swallow, it feels as though it's on the verge of doing it again. It's absolute agony when it happens. I had 4 wisdom teeth removed a couple of months ago. Could that have anything to do with it?

Did I really fracture my coworker's rib by giving her a tight hug, or was it a pre-existing condition exacerbated by the hug?
