After surgery on my pinky finger, I experienced extreme pain for 3 days. The surgeon removed the bandage and strapping due to it being too tight and causing the pain. My 4th finger still has no feeling on the back of it, and it was the pinky finger that was operated on, with both the 4th and pinky fingers strapped together. I am worried that the strapping caused nerve damage. I also have marks from the compression on my skin where I feel numbness. What could be the cause of this numbness and should I be concerned about nerve damage?

I have been taking venlafaxine for about 4 years at a dose of 150mg every morning. I have not missed a dose in months, but I am experiencing severe withdrawal symptoms despite taking the medication regularly. I have no recent changes in dosage, no lifestyle changes, and no other medical issues except for slight weight gain. I'm in my late sixties and have been bruising more easily over the past year. I have lupus and rheumatoid arthritis and take a lot of prescribed medication. My skin also tears easily, and I often have bruises. Can I take a vitamin to help with this?
