My husband occasionally experiences heavy breathing and a staring episode for about 3-4 minutes, during which he seems disoriented and sometimes plays with his hands. I am a 63-year-old female residing in India with diagnosed sarcoidosis affecting multiple organs. My treatment includes steroids, but due to my long-term diabetes, my sugar levels have risen significantly. I am concerned about the recurrence of sarcoidosis and looking for alternative treatments to steroids that are equally effective without side effects. Additionally, I have a history of diabetes for 15 years, hypertension for over ten years, and a recent stent placement due to a 100% blocked artery.
