I have been diagnosed with GERD and missed my dose of omeprazole today, leading to severe heartburn. Can I take omeprazole now at night even after eating, or should I take something else and resume omeprazole in the morning? Additionally, does GERD cause asthma or vice versa, and if I am taking prednisone and albuterol, which I read can adversely affect GERD, should I discontinue these medications until my GERD symptoms improve?

My husband has been dry heaving and vomiting since early this morning with sweats, while I ate the same thing and am fine. I have given him ginger ale and a cracker to ease his stomach, but it does not help. He did mow yesterday evening. What do you think it could be?

I have spinal fusion from L3 to T11 and recent MRI indicates epidural lipomatosis, L5-S1 asymmetric high-grade foraminal stenosis, and perineal neuropathy. I am currently being treated with Oxycodone, Lyrica, and Methocarbamol, but the pain is increasing. Are there other alternatives for pain management?

Eight weeks after a fall, my left knee still hurts, and I have a history of blood clots affecting my left knee. I am on low-dose warfarin with a target INR of 1.5 to 2.
