I'm always in pain, always tired, and my bloodwork was fine six months ago, but I've had my heart checked several times. I was a heavy alcoholic for about 12 years before cutting back. I've also been experiencing neuropathy pain in my arms and legs that lasted two weeks. I've had EKGs and X-rays, which were normal, but I'm still concerned. What could be causing these symptoms, and what tests should I request from my doctor?
