I have been experiencing a squeezing sensation in my stomach for about 3 weeks. I am a type one diabetic with a history of gastroparesis and polycystic ovary syndrome. The feeling started at the top of my stomach but has now spread to the entire stomach, being tighter at the top. I also experience nausea and vomiting at least once a day. What could be causing this and what should I do?

I am 14 years old and have a fever of 103.2°F, which has been gradually increasing from 100.1°F over the past 3-4 days. I also have a runny nose. I hope I don't have to go to the ER because today is my birthday and I have plans to get a belly button piercing, but I'm unsure if it's safe while I'm feeling sick.

Hello, my MPV on my recent blood panel is 13.2 (normal range is 7.5-12.5). Last year it was 12.4, right under normal. Is this a cause for concern?

If someone got an electrical shock from an extension cord, how should they be treated, and should they go to the ER? The person is experiencing tingling, numbness in the left arm, a headache, and their body felt hot after the shock. They are not currently using any medications.

I've been experiencing a rattly chest cough with yellow phlegm for the past 2 days. The cough comes and goes, worse at night, and my chest is sore from coughing. I'm on blood pressure medications (candesartan, carvedilol), a GTN spray-like tablet, aspirin, and I've had two heart attacks. What could be causing this cough and what should I do?

I have had discomfort in my throat, including pharyngitis and laryngitis, for many years. I've had several laryngoscopies and need to clear my throat often. My voice is slightly hoarse, but I can easily swallow food without water. My hemoglobin was 15.95 g/dl three weeks ago. On June 7 this year, a laryngoscopy by an ENT specialist found no diseases. Is it highly likely that you do not suspect throat cancer?
