I have been experiencing diarrhea and abdominal cramps for two weeks. The cramps are localized in the lower abdomen and are constant. I am 67 years old, have high blood pressure and diabetes (both controlled), and had a bout of E. coli in the past. I am not taking any medications specifically for these symptoms, and I have not noticed any blood in my stool, which is gelatinous and foamy. I have tried Pepto-Bismol, but it has not helped. What could be causing these symptoms, and what should I do?

Hey doc, I just yawned and now my throat hurts, feeling odd when I swallow. I'm a 26-year-old male with big tonsils, no lymph node swelling, and I suffer from GERD. The pain is roughly where my fingers indicate. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My right knee has been feeling uncomfortable, mainly in the back part and the bottom. I have started weight training but keep it light and stretch. What could this be and how can I prevent further damage? I do wear a patella brace.

My husband has been feeling ill with a fever over 102°F for 7 days. He was diagnosed with RSV and secondary pneumonia, prescribed Levaquin, but seems significantly worse today. At what point should I be concerned and seek further medical attention?

I just had umbilical hernia repair surgery on Wednesday and today I noticed a pain in my left calf muscle. The pain comes and goes, is sharp but mild, and is localized to one small area in the back of my calf. I am currently taking Tylenol and 5mg Percocet, and I am 37 years old. Should I be concerned about this pain, and what steps should I take to address it?
