I had a CT Chest with IV contrast. The results show gravity-dependent atelectasis in the right lung base and a rind of ground glass in the right lung base, which might indicate lung disease. There are no suspicious pulmonary masses. How should I interpret these findings, and should I be concerned about them?

I had a sonogram done and would like to discuss my results. My doctor's appointment isn't until March. I have been experiencing excessive thirst and sometimes difficulty swallowing. I had blood work done for my thyroid, and my thyroid level was normal. I'm concerned about the size of my nodule and want to know if I should try to get a sooner appointment.

I've also been experiencing lightheadedness, becoming easily overworked with chest pain and shortness of breath, and my leg has been swelling at the site of a year-old injury.
