I have been experiencing flu-like symptoms for three weeks, including a lot of phlegm, difficulty sleeping, and pain in my throat and chest. I have a history of COPD and am currently taking osteo panadol, Xarelto, Carvedilol, Sigmaxin, Seretide, and Spiriva. I am 82 years old and have had hip surgery, AF, and been stented twice in the past. What could be causing these symptoms and what should I do?

My TSH is 0.06. I have been experiencing symptoms such as fatigue, thinning hair, depression, dry skin, constipation, weakness, trouble sleeping at night, general feeling unwell, and anxiety for approximately 3-4 weeks. I am currently on 112 mcg of Synthroid. I had a thyroidectomy for cancer 8 years ago, am a type 2 diabetic, and have hypertension. How should I approach my primary doctor to discuss potentially lowering my Synthroid dosage?

I am scheduled for cataract surgery on January 9th to address a posterior subcapsular cataract in my left eye. I am extremely anxious, especially about the twilight anesthesia, dilation of my eyes, and the potential for panic during the procedure. Additionally, I am struggling with the choice of intraocular lenses, particularly between the Enhance (non-Toric) Wilburn and the Clearview 3 lens by Lenstec. I am concerned about losing near vision with the other lenses and am worried about the twilight anesthesia and managing my anxiety medication, Klonopin, which I am currently weaning off. I am also fearful of how my vision and depth perception will be affected post-surgery. How can I best manage my anxiety and make an informed decision about the lenses?

I have had upper back pain that radiates into my ribs and chest on and off for years, which started during pregnancy about 5 years ago. The pain is mostly achy, and the only thing that somewhat helps is taking 2 Aleve for muscle and back pain. I'm currently 35 years old and take omeprazole and sertraline, which help manage the pain when taken consistently. I also have GERD and a small hiatal hernia. What could be the cause of this pain, and what can I do to alleviate it?

I'm having chest pains that radiate into my shoulder. The pain is achy. I'm a 40-year-old female on Ozempic, trazedone, and cipralax. I've lost over 70 pounds since being diagnosed with diabetes. I don't smoke and am overweight. The chest pain increases on exertion. What should I do?
