I have been experiencing frequent daily hiccups for several years. They can happen at any time, not just before eating. I am 78 years old, generally in good health, and taking medications including Donepezil for early onset dementia, Synthroid, and Losartk. I also have a history of double vision and pain from my left ear up to the left side of my head, which was diagnosed as inflammation of a temporal nerve. What could be causing my chronic hiccups, and what specialist should I consult?

I had a CT scan and I'm worried about the findings, especially a 3mm lingular nodule on the lungs, mistiness of the mesentery with a prominent lymph node, a hernia, and an ovarian cyst. I'm also experiencing some pain and am on Pepcid twice a day. Should I be concerned about these findings, and what can I do for the pain?

I’ve been having brown discharge while on the pill and in the middle of a pack. The discharge comes and goes, has no odor, and is thin like normal discharge but very faint brown. I missed one birth control pill about five days ago but have not missed any others. I am 22 years old and have had a bit of burning on and off but no itching. What could be causing this and what can I do about it?

What are the risks of HIV, hepatitis B/C, and STDs from various medical procedures and situations, such as injections, blood draws, and handling medical equipment like insulin pens and multi-dose vials?

I was prescribed Dilaudid 1mg with Tylenol for kidney stone pain. I don't like how it makes me feel drowsy and loopy. Can I drink coffee to help reverse the effects of drowsiness? If I take 650mg Tylenol instead of 1000mg, will that lessen the side effects of Hydromorphone? I think I noticed a difference but I'm not sure if it was just a fluke.

I've been on Brilinta for about 3 months and have shortness of breath, which is a side effect. When will it go away?
