I have been experiencing hormone problems for 4 years, including irregular periods, weight gain, cold hands and feet, constipation and diarrhea, joint and eye inflammation, white spots on shoulders, painful intercourse, and decreased interest in sex. My progesterone is 1, estrogen is 260 (on day 21 after an irregular period), and I am very bloated with most of the weight on my tummy. I am a personal trainer and exercise a lot but cannot lose weight. I have a family history of thyroid issues but my blood tests are normal. What could be causing these symptoms and what tests or treatments should I consider?
