I have been experiencing pain in the front side of my hip, right next to the joint, for a couple of weeks. The pain is tender with sharpness, worsens when laying down, rolling over, or sleeping on my stomach, and is also painful when straightening my leg. I am a 37-year-old female veteran with a history of hip issues like trochanteric bursitis, arthritis in my other hip, and bone and nerve issues in my legs and feet. I also have high blood pressure and take labetalol for it. What could this pain be, and what can I do to manage it?

I have pain behind my right breast that increases on breathing in. It started mildly two weeks ago but has increased, especially at night. The pain is sharp when I take a deep breath and dull when there's no motion. I have a history of pleurisy and costochondritis, but no recent issues. I also have difficulty taking deep breaths and the pain radiates to my back. How can I rule out a fractured rib or COVID-19?

I had carotid artery surgery last March and have been on Plavix and aspirin since then. I developed blood spots on my body and experienced massive internal bleeding due to a burst blood vessel in my prostate. Emergency surgery was performed to cauterize the source, but the bleeding started again three days ago. My neurosurgeon wants me to stay on Plavix due to a 70 percent clogged carotid artery on the other side of my neck, but I'm concerned about the risk of continued internal bleeding. What alternative medications can I consider?

I was bitten by my dog while trying to break up a fight. The bite left three wounds on my hand, with only one being a puncture. I applied a band-aid with Neosporin. Should I go to the ER, or is there anything else I should do for the bite?

Hi, I was fine one minute, but then I went to the bathroom and suddenly found myself in the kitchen feeling like I had peed. When I checked, my underwear was bloody and had a gross yellow and brown color. How long have you had the yellowness, have you used any medication for it, have you seen a doctor about it, and is there anything else in your medical history the doctor should know?
