I have been experiencing sharp stabbing pain in my upper outer thigh that lasts for a few seconds and recurs every 15-20 minutes. The pain has persisted for two days and is very bothersome, but I can function normally and do not have any other medical conditions or symptoms. Should I take something to ease the pain?

My husband (58) has occasional scattered T2 signal abnormalities on MRI, most likely ischemic, most prominently in the left frontal lobe. My husband has a family history of dementia, alcohol abuse, and occasional migraines. What could be the cause of these abnormalities and what should we consider in his medical history?

I have a constant 'whooshing' sound in my left ear, a retracted ear drum in my left ear, and a bit of effusion in my right ear. I have chronic rhinitis and live in an area with bad sinus conditions. My PCP put me on Flonase, Claritin, and children's Sudafed, but the sound is still there. Could this be sinus-related, and is there a decongestant I can safely take daily?
