I have been experiencing symptoms similar to meningitis for 3 years, including discharge from the nose and mouth, sinus sensitivity, eye sensitivity on the same side, drowsiness, sensitivity to bright light and noise, headaches, and difficulty breathing. I was hospitalized and given antibiotics, but the symptoms persist. Should I suggest to my GP that I see a neurologist, especially given my history of forgetfulness and weakness?
