I have been on a PPI for around 7 years and am concerned about kidney damage. I had blood tests done, but I believe I was slightly dehydrated when they were drawn. My results include Uric Acid: 3.5 (reference: 4.0-8.0 mg/dL), UREA NITROGEN (BUN): 23 (reference: 7-25 mg/dL), CREATININE: 1.04 (reference: 0.60-1.35 mg/dL), and eGFR NON-AFR. AMERICAN: 88 (reference ≥ 60 mL/min/1.73m²). I also had a high HOMOCYSTEINE of 11.7 (reference: <11.4 umol/L). The same night we discussed these results, I ended up in the hospital with tachycardia and was diagnosed with dehydration. After IV fluids, my creatinine dropped to 0.9 and BUN to 15. I still have a slightly elevated heart rate and traces of blood in my urine (Non-Hemolyzed moderate trace). What should I do?

I have a raw and bleeding abdomen, especially around an old incision, which I've been told is due to yeast. Is this correct, and what can be done to treat it?

My mother was recently diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease, stage 3. The treating Nurse Practitioner neglected to inform her of this diagnosis for a year, despite treating her. Considering the seriousness of this condition, do you agree that this is unethical, and what steps should we take now?

I met a sex worker 2 months ago and experienced a fever, headache, and then red spots on my glans. The doctor initially diagnosed thrush and treated it with an anti-fungal cream, but the symptoms have recurred. I was tested for STDs, excluding herpes, which came back negative. Recently, I had itching and new inflammation/blisters on my glans. My herpes test was negative, but it was done before the new symptoms appeared. Could the test have missed the virus, and should I get another herpes test?
