I have had a bad cough and runny nose for three days, tested negative for COVID twice. My cough is wet with some chest tightness, and my sputum is mostly dark yellow. I am a 47-year-old female, currently taking Life brand complete daytime liquid capsules, Tylenol Cold and Flu, and Benylin cough syrup. Should I get antibiotics, and what should I do about my symptoms?

I am a 24-year-old female with COVID, vaccinated and taking Paxlovid. I was told to take it 'about 12 hours apart.' Is 11 hours okay, or should I wait the extra hour? Also, should I test negative after 5 days of the prescription, or does it take longer? Additionally, I have mild allergy-induced asthma and health anxiety. Since I'm getting better, will it not get worse again? Is it okay to use my albuterol inhaler occasionally for mild asthma symptoms?

I have a plugged sinus, a cough, waxy ears, dizziness, and slightly elevated blood pressure. I am 69 years old, diabetic, and have a history of minor cardiac issues, ear wax buildup, and being allergic to sulfa. I was born prematurely. How long have you had the cough? Is it constant throughout the day or does it come and go? Is it a dry cough or a wet cough? Any tightness in your chest? What are all the medications you're currently using, either for the cough or anything else? What's your gender? Anything else in your medical history you think the Doctor should know?

I hurt my ankle a few months ago and it's still bothering me around the Achilles tendon area. The pain is constant, more sore or numb when not walking, but sharp, stabbing, and hot when walking. I've tried ice, heat, stretching, massaging, and pain medication, but nothing has helped. What should I do next?

I think I have an inguinal hernia. There is a noticeable bulge, and I experienced sharp burning pain when sitting down last week. The bulge goes away when I recline or lay down but returns quickly when I move around. I do physical work like unloading trucks and stocking shelves. Should I risk going to work tonight or wait until I see a doctor tomorrow?

I went to urgent care yesterday and have acute bronchitis and ear infections. I was given a shot of rocephin and a steroid shot. I’m now taking amoxicillin twice a day and have an inhaler. My concern is that I couldn’t sleep last night because lying flat brought on coughing fits. I ended up getting to sleep around 5:30 and dozed on and off today. I had a few good hours this afternoon but now I’m back to fairly constant coughing. It’s productive and definitely in my chest. Is this the natural progression of the illness, or should I go back to urgent care tonight?
