I think I have an inguinal hernia. There is a noticeable bulge, and I experienced sharp burning pain when sitting down last week. The bulge goes away when I recline or lay down but returns quickly when I move around. I do physical work like unloading trucks and stocking shelves. Should I risk going to work tonight or wait until I see a doctor tomorrow?

I went to urgent care yesterday and have acute bronchitis and ear infections. I was given a shot of rocephin and a steroid shot. I’m now taking amoxicillin twice a day and have an inhaler. My concern is that I couldn’t sleep last night because lying flat brought on coughing fits. I ended up getting to sleep around 5:30 and dozed on and off today. I had a few good hours this afternoon but now I’m back to fairly constant coughing. It’s productive and definitely in my chest. Is this the natural progression of the illness, or should I go back to urgent care tonight?

On gastroscopy, areas with red color change in the esophagus, multiple wide-base polyps in the stomach (0.2cm-0.6cm, smooth surfaces, no RAC, spotted hyperemia) were found. Biopsy showed mild chronic inflammation, no goblet cell metaplasia, differentiated and mature surface mucous epithelium, no obvious atypia in the glands, and no Helicobacter pylori infection. How should these findings be managed?

My oldest brother passed away yesterday, and my mother's blood pressure is 123/99 and her sugar is 143. What can we do to help her cope with the stress and manage these health issues?

My friend had Mohs surgery for a basal cell carcinoma near his eye, but the Mohs surgeon couldn't remove all the cancerous tissue due to proximity to the eye and lack of protective equipment. The surgeon referred him to a plastic surgeon for further removal and reconstruction. I'm concerned because the plastic surgeon doesn't seem to have Mohs surgery experience and the procedure is scheduled under general anesthesia. Is it plausible for a plastic surgeon to complete the Mohs surgery and reconstruction under these circumstances?

Over the past couple of weeks, I have been experiencing strange little spasms at the tip of my tongue, jaw pain, ear pain, a hard and painful area under my jaw (assumed to be a lymph node), and pain when swallowing. I also feel generally ill. I had a toxic ear infection previously and used leftover Cipro ear drops for the current ear pain. An urgent care physician found fluid in my ears but no sign of infection, and prescribed a medrol pack to reduce swelling. I am concerned that this may be more than just an inflamed lymph node and wonder if the tongue issues could be muscle spasms due to inflammation in my jaw, ear, and throat.
