I have had fluctuating white blood cell counts over the past few years. My most recent count was 3.6, and my primary care physician said I was stable and not concerned. However, I am worried about the possibility of a bone biopsy. Should I see a hematologist for further testing if my white count remains in the 3.6 range, especially given my fear of a bone biopsy? I feel fine otherwise and have no other symptoms.
