I have had my period for 14 days now and was wondering if there is cause for concern. I am 44 years old and didn’t know if this is just something normal that happens as we get older. I am not using any contraceptives or medications, except for occasional ibuprofen. My last period was 6 days long, and I have always had a pretty normal 5-7 day period. My mother hit menopause in her mid-50s, and I have no intrauterine device. I have never had my thyroid evaluated, and I don't know about any family history of polycystic ovarian syndrome. My lifestyle has been more stagnant than usual due to being laid off for a few months. Is this prolonged period something I should be concerned about, and if so, what should I do?

My 89-year-old mother with an enlarged heart and arthritis was asked by her 93-year-old brother, who is bedridden with double pneumonia, COPD, and requires oxygen, to be his caregiver. He is being sent home from the hospital and refuses to go to a nursing home. We live in New York, which has a high COVID-19 case rate. Is it safe for my mother to be around him, and could she catch pneumonia or COVID-19 from him? Additionally, considering her health conditions, is it too stressful for her to be a caregiver without help?

I have a question concerning my period. My last period began on November 5, and I took Plan B last week. I haven't had a pap test yet, and there are no unusual symptoms. I had unprotected sex 11 days ago, took Plan B the next day, and I'm supposed to get my period today but I see spotting. Is it pregnancy or low flow? Can you still get pregnant if you had sex a couple of days before your period? Should I take a pregnancy test, or since I have bleeding, should I be fine? What's the difference between light flow and spotting?

I have a chronic itchy scrotum and bottom area that has been ongoing for years. I use Tinactin but don't think it's jock itch. What could be causing this and what can I do about it?
