I have had a spot sensitive to the touch on my upper gum where it connects to the cheek for almost a year. I've been to the dentist and ENT doctor, and nothing was found. Today, I noticed a pea-shaped bump in that same spot that is sensitive to touch. What could it be?

I have eustachian tube dysfunction and have had chronic ear infections, leading to symptoms like full and heavy ears, pulling sensations, numbness, swelling, and tightness around the neck and ears. I also have chronic fatigue, sinus problems, and a history of a cochlear implant. My ENT doctor believes these symptoms are psychological, but I think I have chronic otitis media and need tubes. What could be causing these symptoms, and what tests or treatments should I consider?
