I have recurring canker sores that are extremely painful and affect my eating. My tongue often gets swollen, I have a dry mouth, and my saliva can be very thick. Should I be concerned, and is there an over-the-counter mouthwash that can help, or should I see a doctor?

I had a staph infection on my leg that was open, about the size of a penny. Recently, the area where the staph was is incredibly painful, with no visible signs, and now it is painful in the exact same place on the other leg. I can barely touch either leg without nearly in tears from pain. Additionally, I have lower and middle back pain, and face pain due to Trigeminal Neuralgia. I also have a history of malignant melanoma, cervical spine fusion with a titanium plate and screws, and two suspicious areas on my head needing biopsies. What could be causing this pain and what should I do?

I get blisters on my right buttock cheek sometimes 3x a month. Sometimes less, sometimes more. I’m wondering if it’s related to herpes or shingles. It’s always on my right buttock cheek, not the inside, but the outside of the cheek. I don’t have a fever, just the blisters which itch in the first few days. I’ve had a slight cold for the past 10 days, but I’m fighting it with vitamin C and other herbs. I have PKD and polycystic liver disease. My ex-boyfriend had genital herpes, and I found out later about it. Can that appear on my bum cheek? And I get outbreaks very often.

I'm 83 years old, in good health, and take Lisinopril 10 mg once a day for blood pressure, which is in the 120's. I've been prescribed Celebrex 200 mg twice a day for one week for mild neck/shoulder pain. Is this combination safe, and how might it affect my blood pressure?

I've been sick for 2 months with a fever of 102 twice a day, anemia, leukopenia, elevated CRP, and a Klebsiella infection in my urine. I've taken 3 rounds of antibiotics, have headaches, post nasal drainage, nausea, and fatigue. My blood work and other tests are negative, and I have a history of asthma, COPD, and vasospastic heart disease. What could be causing my symptoms?

I had the flu two weeks ago and now I have a fever, body aches, chills, nausea, and chest pain. I'm confused about what could be happening. How long have you had the pain, and what seems to make the pain better or worse? Do you have any other medical history the doctor should know about?
