My mother, who is 92 years old and has had dementia for 3 years, has been sleeping for the last 20 hours. She is breathing but I have not been able to wake her. She normally sleeps from 7 or 8 PM to 8 AM and naps a few times a day. She takes Duloxetin and 25 mg Fentanyl for pain, but nothing for dementia. Should I call 911?

I have pain during urination, a constant burning sensation when I pee, and a recurring fishy smell (BV). I am UTI and STD free, have taken cranberry, D-mannose, and vitamin C, and have a history of UTIs. I am seeing a urologist but believe the issue might be more vaginal than urinary. I have tried various treatments, including a prescription for pyridium, but nothing helps. What could be causing these symptoms and what can be done to alleviate them?

The man I am with appears to have a fingernail fungus. I am concerned because he wants to cook dinner and chop vegetables which will be cooked but still worries me. Should I not eat what he cooks? What do you suggest? I am afraid that it is contagious. What to do?

I woke up with hives near my eye this morning and the sides of my lips are so chapped they keep bleeding and nothing I use is working to help. When did hives first appear? Have you used any medication for this? Have you seen a dermatologist about hives? Anything else in your medical history you think the Doctor should know?
