I have sharp pain between my shoulder blades that radiates around to my chest. The pain recurs occasionally but is not continuous. It started early this morning when I was in bed and has occurred before. The pain dissipates when I stand and wait. I'm 73 years old, retired from civil service, and work on my personal computer a few hours a day as a writer. I recently had an endoscopy procedure and was found to have a couple of ulcers. I also had a radiology test where I drank a chalky liquid and ate a pill while being watched on camera.
