I have two scenarios involving potential HIV exposure. In the first, a friend with risky sexual behavior spat on my face, including my lips and mouth, where I had small cuts. In the second, a coworker with a bleeding finger touched my neck, which had skin irritation but no open cuts. In both scenarios, I am concerned about the risk of HIV transmission, especially if the individuals involved are HIV positive and have high viral loads. Should I be worried, and should I get tested?

I have insomnia and have tried all the herbal remedies. I don’t want to try ambien. I am a 60-year-old female, a nurse working part-time at an ASC, with a history of hysterectomy and bilateral oophorectomy, and a little high-strung. I had breast cancer, receptor positive, so I can’t take estrogen. I am more anxious than depressed and not on any medications. What else can I try for my insomnia?

Can someone use benzodiazepines for the long term from doctors orders, and is it safe for long term use on the same low dosage? Also, if herpes fluid, whether blister fluid or infected saliva, found its way into my warm and moist food, can I get infected if I ate the food 3 hours later, especially if I have cuts in my mouth?

I have been having thinner than normal stools for the last 3 weeks. I have not used any medication and have not seen a doctor yet. My stools are sometimes soft, always light brown, and I continue to go every morning and usually in the afternoon. I have had a slight change in my diet, but I have tried to eat healthier in the last week, and the stools are still thinner than usual. What could be the cause of this, and should I be concerned?
