My husband has been experiencing black watery diarrhea, chest pain, shortness of breath, upper left abdomen pain, dizziness, and clammy cold skin for 2 and a half days. He has also had spells of feeling lightheaded, cold sweats, and dizziness since June, followed by muscle tension and upper abdomen discomfort. He has been constipated for 2 days before the diarrhea started. He has no known triggers for these symptoms and has cut down his drinking habits and eats more healthily. He has been staying home in bed, moving makes him very dizzy, and he has eaten only a few crackers in the last 2 days due to pain. What could be causing these symptoms and what should we do?

After about 5 hours of sleep, I awoke feeling as if my breathing was shallow and a little short of air, which went away immediately upon waking. I'm a healthy 67-year-old man who exercises 1-3 times a week and has regular check-ups. My vitals are perfect, but I had eaten a large heavy meal and had a few glasses of wine. I have GERD, take omeprazole daily, and have anxiety neurosis and panic attacks, for which I take Xanax daily. What do you think is going on?

I have not felt well since Monday. I feel dizzy, nauseous, tired, and have a slight headache. I am diabetic with blood sugar levels fine for me, and my blood pressure was 145/76. I am taking metformin, atorvastatin, glimepiride, insulin lantus polestar 30 units once a day, and Aleve for the headache. I am 76 years old and have diarrhea frequently, but no fever or chills. What could be causing these symptoms and what should I do?
