I haven't had a good bowel movement for 3 weeks. Even with stool softeners or laxatives, it has been minimal every other day or so and hard to move. It feels as if I have to go and it's sitting on the edge most of the time. Additionally, the last two days have produced blood due to the urge to push hard for relief. Has the laxative helped at all? Any side effects? Are you currently using any other medications? How old are you? Anything else in your medical history you think the Doctor should know?

I was laying on my back reading, then rolled over to my stomach on my knees. When I lifted my head, I heard rushing in my ear and felt pressure on the left side of my face and head for about 20-30 seconds, followed by panic. I am currently not experiencing symptoms. Could this have been a stroke, and what symptoms would indicate a stroke?

I am a 68-year-old woman with a hepatic cyst measuring 8cm x 6cm that is causing constant pain. It was first detected in 2010 and has grown over the years. I have been hospitalized twice for this issue, and rest, antibiotics, and pain medication have provided relief. Greasy foods and stress aggravate the pain. I am obese, have varicosity, diverticulosis, and glaucoma. What are my options for managing or removing this cyst?
