I just had diarrhea and a thick brown mucus came out. And like a lot! Is this bad? I experienced a stomach ache but feel better now. This has been bothering me for the last 30 minutes. No vomiting or nausea. My half brother has rectal cancer.

Is there a rule of thumb to adjust the maximum heart rate after a successful ablation procedure to treat AFib/Aflutter? I find that during high-intensity interval training, I can't reach my calculated 220-age max heart rate. I am 44 years old, had an ablation in February with no recurrence, and want to know how much to adjust my max heart rate for workouts like Orange Theory, which bases its exercises on the 220-age formula.

I have a mild pain that comes and goes in my right lower abdomen near where my appendix is, and I also have pain in my right lower back that developed after lifting my grandchildren and luggage. My bowel movements have changed to large marble-sized pieces. Could these symptoms be related to metastases, and what else could be causing them?

I've been constipated for 3 weeks with small and hard stools and occasional stronger bowel movements. I took Miralax for 3 days, and now my stools are mostly small and thin. I'm 35 years old and have mild discomfort in my abdomen, sometimes in the upper right area but sometimes lower or on the left side. Is this all due to constipation, and what should I do about the thin stools after stopping Miralax?

For the past month, my bowel movements have been lighter in color than usual, sometimes solid and other times loose. I am on four medications, have celiac disease, and have been very stressed lately. I have been avoiding beef and pork. My bowel movements are on the brown spectrum with a slight tinge of golden orange mustard. I see my GI regularly and have had recent tests. Could this be stress, something I'm eating, or a celiac flare-up? Should I be concerned about liver or kidney issues?

I am having a fever since last night with a runny nose, sore throat, and shivering. I took Aerius and two Panadols. Can I take two more Panadols after 10 hours or should I take one? Should I start antibiotics for the fever, even though my throat is better but still itchy, and I have a little cough and feel tired?
