I was splashed with hot olive oil on my hand a week ago, resulting in a large blister and dark patches of skin. I have been applying aloe vera gel and taking care of the blister. Yesterday, I accidentally bumped the blister, causing it to scrape open. I am concerned about scarring, longer healing time, and infection risk. I have been applying Neosporin, aloe vera gel, and using bandages. There is a slight itch feeling. Does it look like there are any signs of infection?
