I'm a 30-year-old female with no previous illnesses. I've been experiencing severe stomach issues for over a week, including inability to eat (only small bites of white rice), alternating between very bland stools and constipation, constant feeling of being full of gas (upper chest, bloated abdomen), and a heartburn-like sensation without reflux. I feel very full and close to throwing up after eating very small quantities, even when hungry. I have no pain in my stomach. My GP thinks it might be IBS, but I'm not sure and very worried. What could be causing these symptoms and what tests or remedies should I consider?

My gastroenterologist wants me to take 2 Dulcolax tablets followed by a whole 10 oz bottle of magnesium citrate half an hour later to clear out stool buildup in my colon. Is this combination of laxatives safe, and how can I stay hydrated during this process?

I accidentally ate 15-25 apricot kernels and experienced diarrhea 7 times in 4 hours. I also ate 8-10 apricots. I am 39 years old, not on any medications except an antibiotic for a separate issue, and have no other medical history. I have not experienced nausea, vomiting, fever, bloating, itching, rashes, shortness of breath, dizziness, or headache. I do have the shakes, but not to the point of a fever. Should I go to urgent care?

I need a doctor's note for calling out of work today and yesterday because I think I ate something bad and had stomach issues. I am 25 years old, male, and not currently using any medications. I experienced diarrhea, stomach pain, vomiting, and tiredness, but no fever, chills, or blood in stool. What could be the cause of my symptoms and what can I do to alleviate them?

I had a leukemia/lymphoma blood test and it came back negative. I was feeling unwell with night sweats, so my primary care physician sent me to an oncologist as a precaution. All my other blood work came back normal. I also had a hysterectomy in September and had chest x-rays and CT scans in the past few months that were normal. I wanted to know how accurate the leukemia/lymphoma blood test is and if there's anything else I should be concerned about.
