I'm a 41-year-old female with no chronic health conditions. I feel like I've had a pill or something caught in my throat for the past six months. The doctor said it was probably a sinus infection and put me on three rounds of antibiotics, but there was no success. My chest feels extremely tight, and I had an AP and lateral chest x-ray which suggested hyperventilation suggesting airway disease. The feeling of something stuck in my throat is driving me crazy, and my chest still hurts. Please give me your advice.

Can you live without the gallbladder, is it a useless organ, and how does its removal affect digestion and diet? What are the risks of not removing a diseased gallbladder, and what kind of diet should be followed after its removal?

I had back surgery in 2007 and 2008, a hysterectomy in 1980, and a fractured pelvis in 2022. I have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and have experienced a significant decline in my sex drive. Given my health history and age, is this decline in sex drive expected, and is there anything I can do to regain it?

I had sex with a stranger who is a US Navy soldier. He used a condom during anal sex, but we engaged in oral sex without protection. I did not ingest his semen. What is the risk of contracting diseases from this encounter?

I have a pain in my lower abdomen that hurts when I pass gas and urinate. I was wondering if that was a hernia or something else.

I just wanted to thank you. You are a very nice person and I'm just really upset with myself. I don't even know why I did such a stupid thing. There goes my 13-year psych job and I've never even been written up. But thank you, Dr. Chip, I appreciate your help. Have a good day.
