I'm a 42-year-old male with an enigmatic autoimmune-like illness and have noticed a slight decline in my memory over the past nine years, particularly in the last six weeks. I'm a high-stress bartender and author, and my job demands a lot of memory. I'm worried about dementia and have a clinical case of hypochondriasis. I've taken memory tests and self-corrected a mistake, which I'm concerned might affect my score. Additionally, I'm taking Viibryd for anxiety and low serotonin, but it makes me feel foggy and sleepy. How likely is it that I have dementia or MCI, and how can I rule it out or manage it?

I woke up with difficulty swallowing on Saturday after a long night of drinking. I went to the ER and was treated for an allergic reaction. My throat feels dry, tight, and filled with thick mucus, making swallowing difficult. I have no fever, pain, or sore throat. I was prescribed an EpiPen and prednisone. I have a history of acid reflux and anxiety, and I take 10mg XR Adderall daily. What could be causing these symptoms, and what should I do?
