I'm a 50-year-old woman with chronic constipation issues. I recently tried a new natural product called Cleanse More, which seemed to work well but caused a sharp pain in my abdomen to the left and up a couple of inches from my belly button after about 3 weeks of use. The pain is tender to the touch and has been intermittent. I have low blood pressure, dry skin/hair, occasional dizziness, high energy, a little overweight, and am menopausal (on BHRT). I'm scheduled for a colonoscopy and thyroid test. What could this pain be?

I developed a pain on my lower left back. I am diabetic. It started about 2 days ago and increases every time I move. Just a slight turn at my waist is excruciating. I am 60 years old and obese. Have you had any recent injuries? What seems to make the pain better or worse? Is there any weakness in the lower leg or numbness? Does the pain radiate down to the knee or is it only in the back?

How often can I take Tylenol for tooth pain, and can I alternate it with Motrin? I started amoxicillin yesterday, but the pain is still excruciating.

I am experiencing nausea, headache, and feeling cold, with a temperature of 97.2°F (normally 98.6°F). The headache is episodic, and the nausea started last night. I have a history of Crohn's disease but have been in remission for about 5 years. Is this a sign of a virus, and what should I do?

Does having a hysterectomy lower your immunity? I have been more sick in the last 6 months since my hysterectomy with all kinds of infections. Also, they removed my uterus and cervix; can that affect your ability to go to the bathroom? It has made me eat a lot more fiber to be regular. Could I have requested to keep my cervix so that I would have avoided this problem? Sometimes it hurts during sex too.

My 18-year-old niece has a runny nose and experienced a burning sensation in her nasal passages and ears after inhaling deeply to clear her nose. She has been experiencing this for about 40 minutes and has a headache. She takes several medications and has phlegm but no fever or sore throat. What could be causing this and what should she do?
