I'm a 75-year-old woman experiencing recurring episodes of a draining sensation in my head, heaviness in my neck and shoulders, and cognitive challenges, which have been diagnosed as panic attacks. I've been prescribed SSRIs and Xanax, but I'm concerned about their side effects and potential addiction. I'm also wondering if these symptoms could be neurological rather than psychological. What should I do?

I have been exposed to the HSV virus and am experiencing vaginal itching/burning, but don't have any sores. Do you think it's more likely a yeast infection?

I have the Paragard IUD. My period was a week and a half late, and now I'm bleeding heavily with large blood clots, the largest being about 2.5 inches in diameter. I'm experiencing pain on my right side and it's painful to the touch. I also have a history of cervical dysplasia and ovarian cysts. I have no insurance and my doctor is out of town for the week. Should I go to the ER?

My son had a CT Scan at eight months old after falling off a table and landing on his head. I was nervous and still am, and I blame myself for allowing the scan since he was not unconscious. I'm concerned about the negative information I've heard about CT Scans and the potential risks to my son. Can you provide any information or reassurance regarding this?

I got bit by a mosquito yesterday, and my hand is swollen to the point where I can't close it. I've tried ice, insect bite sprays, epsom salt soaks, and more ice, but there's no relief. What can I do to reduce the swelling and stop the itch at home, especially since I have no medical insurance?
