I'm experiencing a dull abdominal pain under my right rib cage, some soreness on the backside/right side of my rib, and increased intestinal gas with occasional diarrhea. My diet has been poor, and my recent blood work showed high triglycerides and cholesterol. I have a history of GERD and a small hiatal hernia. Could this be related to gallstones or gallbladder inflammation, and what should I do about it?

Our 15-year-old daughter has a thyroid nodule and has had numerous tests done. Most tests came back clean except for low vitamin D 25 hydroxy, high iodine plasma, high albumin, high ferritin, high TIBC, and low red blood count. She was diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma at 9 months old and has been cancer-free for 14 years. What do these test results indicate, and how can we manage the high iodine plasma and low vitamin D levels?
