I need to see a doctor for sinus problems. I've been experiencing burning pain in my left sinus for 2 days. I'm 46 years old and not currently using any medications. I have no fever or congestion, and this is the first time I've experienced these symptoms. What could be causing this and what treatment should I follow?

My 48-year-old wife experiences mild bilateral arm tingling with slight numbness that usually resolves quickly. She also has anxiety and IBS, and since Christmas, she has had intermittent abdominal pain, bloating, and constipation. Her feces can be flat or round, but there is no blood in the stool and no weight loss. She is scheduled for a colonoscopy due to age. Should we be concerned about heart disease or colon cancer based on these symptoms?

I have shingles pain in my kidney area. The pain started internally first in the gallbladder area, then in the kidney and liver area. After 5-7 days, I developed welts over the liver and around to the back kidney area. The internal pain was the worst, and the surface welts were irritating. I was initially concerned about kidney stones, but an ultrasound showed no stones in the kidney or gallbladder. What is causing the internal kidney pain with shingles?

Our family recently moved to Ottawa under permanent residence status for medical care access for our son Bavo Senga Mpayimana, who has congenital bilateral mild to moderate hydronephrosis. He is now 5 years old and we are waiting for an appointment at CHEO for pediatric nephrology. What can we do to expedite this process or find an independent pediatric nephrologist in Canada, especially in Ontario, given that we have Canadian Life Insurance?
