I need my right hip replaced. Yesterday, I fell hard on my left side (I did NOT fall on my 'bad' hip). But that bad hip is killing me now. Recent x-ray showed very little cartilage left in that hip. I can barely walk even with a walker. There is no pain when I sit. I can put weight on the leg but it hurts. I run a rescue and have a lot of animals here, and while my husband is a big help, he needs me to direct him and the meds as he has cognitive impairment. It snowed a lot now, and going to the hospital would be tough and getting down the 4 stairs to outside would be very painful. How do I know if my hip is broken or if I just need time? I'm scheduled for replacement in June.

Is pain/tenderness in the area under my armpit, radiating to the back and upper bicep, likely musculoskeletal or something else? The pain has been present for a few days, with stiffness in the shoulder, but no recent trauma or injury. I have tried rest, but the pain is intermittent and quite painful when pressed.

My wife has a punctured eardrum in her right ear and hearing loss, along with fluid buildup in her left ear, which started around December 25th when she had bronchitis. Her current ENT is unsure if her hearing will return. We live in Atlanta. Are there any doctors or hospitals with more specialized experience in hearing loss that you would recommend?

I've been sick all week with sinus issues, like a cold or flu, and decided to take mucus relief. After taking it, I started to break out in hives. The bottle warns of possible allergic skin reactions, so I'm hesitant to continue. Should I seek medical help for the rash and hives?
