I recently got an X-Ray that showed left pleural effusion, but a subsequent X-Ray showed no pleural effusion and mentioned 'Similar homogeneous attenuation of the retrocardiac clear space.' What does this mean, and what could cause it? Additionally, a recent CT Scan with Contrast showed 'Some calcified mediastinal and LEFT hilar lymph nodes. Residual thymic tissue anterior superior mediastinum.' and 'Normal size heart with trace pericardial fluid.' What do these findings mean?

I have a strange bump in the back of my throat that I've had for 3 weeks. I've tried antifungal medicine, which made my tongue fuzzy, so I stopped. I've also used saline rinses.
