I recently had a moderate stroke while on amphetamines and lost neurons on the left side of my brain. I'm wondering if transplanted neurons could adapt to my genes and restore my brain's function to what it once was, particularly in terms of playing the piano and speech. Additionally, I'm curious about the current state of neuron transplantation technology and its potential future applications for people who have had strokes.

Does one dose of Pfizer vaccine prevent death and hospitalization? I had my first dose of Pfizer two months ago and felt very ill afterward for a few days. I never went back and got my second dose. Is it too late to go and get the second dose for it to be effective?

I have been working out daily and trying to eat better due to weight gain. Despite this, I have gained 17 pounds in 2 weeks. I am 19 years old, female, and my current weight is 194 lbs with a height of 5'6". I am not using any medications and have no significant medical history. I have been in a caloric deficit and burning more than my intake, but the weight gain persists. What could be the underlying cause, and what tests should I consider?
