Last week, I accidentally ate cannabis chocolate, which caused panic and an increased heart rate. I went to the emergency department, where they gave me Lorazepam and performed an ECG. The ECG showed sinus tachycardia, left atrial enlargement, and non-specific repolarization abnormalities. I'm concerned if these ECG abnormalities were temporary due to the cannabis or if they will remain permanent. Should I be worried about these findings?

I was recently diagnosed with mild non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy. I have had Type 2 diabetes for 17 years and my A1C levels have ranged between 6.2 to 8.4, currently around 6.7 to 7.3. I have been taking Rybelsus 3 mg for about a year, which was recently increased to 7 mg. I am concerned about the possible side effects of Rybelsus, particularly its link to diabetic retinopathy complications. Could this medication be the cause of my retinopathy, and should I ask my endocrinologist to prescribe a different medication like Januvia? If my retinopathy worsens, what treatment options are available, and should I be worried about blindness?

I am looking for a neurologist in Montreal for my son, who is on the autism spectrum. He has had recent evaluations, including an electroencephalogram, genetic chromosome test, and psychological evaluation, all of which came back normal. He is currently taking a medication called 'Limbik' 2mg. What steps should I take to find a neurologist and how can I expedite the process given the long waiting list for family doctors?

My wife has about 8 bruises that suddenly appeared on her legs and arm, including two the size of a baseball with a white center and a knot in the middle. She has had them for about 4 days. She is 35 years old, not currently using any medications, has had 2 seizures, and had pneumonia in her right lung last month. Her joints have been hurting. What could be causing these bruises and what should we do?
