I sometimes experience a warm sensation in my core around my midriff and upper belly region, which radiates outward from deep within. It is comforting and not associated with sweating or discomfort. I am under considerable emotional stress and wonder if this sensation is related to stress or if it has a physical cause. Have you heard of others experiencing a similar phenomenon?

I have been experiencing extreme pain near the anus, which is sharp and burning, for a few months. The pain has worsened over the last few weeks and occurs randomly throughout the day, even when laying down. I have a history of IBS and occasional constipation, but mostly diarrhea. I have also had itching in the past, but now it's just pain. What could be causing this pain, and what should I do?

A few years ago, I tore my rotator cuff on my right shoulder and have since dislocated it. Yesterday, I threw a football and think I hurt it again. I can lift weights, but the throwing motion always causes pain and it constantly pops when moving around. Does this sound like a torn rotator cuff? Does this require surgery or should I just avoid the throwing motion?

A 99-year-old female Caucasian patient is taking clonidine to manage high blood pressure, which reaches 202/170 approximately every 8 to 10 hours. However, she experiences symptoms of dizziness, dry mouth, and weakness from the medication. Can you suggest an alternative treatment to avoid these side effects?

In September 2008, I experienced a headache on the left side of my head that persisted despite over-the-counter medication. My blood pressure was elevated at 140/90, and after a deep sleep, I noticed my heart was beating fast and my left face was numb. My heart rate reached 170, and after various tests, including an MRI showing white spots, I was diagnosed with arrhythmia and given medication. Over the years, I experienced various symptoms such as back and leg pain, eye issues, body spasms, and facial numbness, leading to further medical consultations and tests. Despite being cleared by cardiologists and neurologists, I still experience strange symptoms and am concerned about the potential causes, including Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Porphyria. Could these conditions be responsible for my symptoms, and could MS affect my heart rate?
