I have been experiencing a nagging pain in my shin that feels like tightness or pressure, mostly in one spot. It only occurs when I walk and started about 2 months ago when I began walking on a treadmill. The pain is not tender to the touch and seems to improve with massage, ice, and stretching. I am concerned if this is something serious or neurological.

I am having problems with my right hip, including difficulty lifting it into the car, putting on clothes, getting up and down, and bending over. My doctor had me get a cortisone shot in my hip, which helped for three weeks but then the symptoms returned worse. Does this mean my problem is my hip? I also have severe arthritis as per my recent X-rays.
