I used to get dizzy occasionally, but in the last two weeks, dizziness has become more frequent, occurring a couple of times a day. I have high blood pressure, with my last reading being 169/79. I am currently taking Betaloc ZOC 100 mg, Codiovan 60/125, and Norvasc or Amlodipine 2.5 mg. What could be causing the increased frequency of dizziness and what tests or treatments should I consider?

I received a pneumococcal injection on 10/11/09. I am 60 years old, in good shape, and exercise daily. I am on cholesterol medications due to a family history of cardiovascular problems. Since the injection, I have experienced body aches and my shoulder at the injection site is locked and very sore. I have used heat and anti-inflammatory medications to treat it, but I still wake up feeling unwell. Could there be a connection between my medications and the shot? Also, on the day of the shot, I went for a 30-mile bike ride and couldn't raise my arm afterward.

I am experiencing severe eye swelling, affecting both upper and lower eyelids, with very few other symptoms. I have been allergy tested and am on sublingual drops. I am allergic to tree nuts, soy, corn, environmental factors, and mildly allergic to dogs. I have also been diagnosed with thyroiditis, although not currently active. The swelling has persisted for almost two weeks and has never gone down, almost to the point of being swollen shut. Blood tests revealed low iron and calcium, with normal thyroid functions. My eyes are fine according to an eye doctor. What should I do next?
