I tested positive for Covid and have symptoms such as cough, fever, and shortness of breath. I'm located in California and am 50 years old, taking medications like Losarten, Zoloft, Buspirone, and Atovarstatin. I also have asthma and caught Covid last year, but it wasn't as severe. I never got the booster. How do I know which variant I have, and would the booster have protected me from the most recent strain or minimized the majority of the symptoms? Do I need to wait until I no longer test positive and have no symptoms before I get the booster? Or does contracting this strain protect me from getting it again because I'm building up antibodies?

I had back surgery months ago and am experiencing constant, throbbing pain similar to what I felt before surgery. I'm managing the pain with over-the-counter Advil and Tylenol, alternating every 6 hours, and using biofreeze on my back, but it's not providing relief. I also experience increased fatigue. What could be causing this persistent pain, and what other treatments or medications might help?

I have had an upset stomach, some diarrhea, a headache, and nausea for a couple of days. It started with a stomach ache and a little diarrhea, now I have a stomach ache, headache, and feel nauseated. I do not have an appetite and haven't vomited but feel like I could. I have not traveled and do not have a fever, chills, or sweats. I work at a hotel and had been to work recently. What could be causing these symptoms and what should I do?
