I've been sick since before Christmas with a bad cough, malaise, and flu-like symptoms. After being diagnosed with pneumonia and completing a course of antibiotics, I still have a bad cough, am exhausted, and experience shortness of breath and heavy heart pounding with light activity. When should I start to feel better, and is this level of shortness of breath and heart pounding normal?

I have symptoms of jitteriness, twitching muscles, and ringing in my ears. My doctor reduced my Synthyroid dosage from 137 MCG to half due to slightly high TSH levels. How long before I notice a change, and what other steps should I take for relief?

I have lost 140 pounds over the past two years through diet and exercise, but I am experiencing persistent joint and foot pain, especially in my hips and feet. I have been diagnosed with tendonitis in my left foot, but treatments like anti-inflammatories and cortisone injections have not helped. Now, I am experiencing pain in my right foot, particularly the outside of my small toe, which is painful with movement but fine at rest. I suspect my spinal alignment issues, possibly due to hip dysplasia from infancy, might be contributing to these problems. I am concerned about the cost of seeing a doctor without health insurance and would like to know what steps I should take to address these issues and maintain my active lifestyle.

My heart has been racing for about 4 hours now. It started at a restaurant after I drank a small cup of coffee, then continued after working out at the gym and having a beer at a club. I am home now and took my blood pressure, which is 105 over 70 with a pulse of 88. What can I do to stop the racing and dizziness?

I am trying to find a pain management physician. I have persistent joint problems without a definite diagnosis. I took various tests for Rheumatoid Arthritis, which came back 'ok'. Do you think a pain management specialist would see me, and what is used to treat RA? Also, is there any way to get pain management help online or immediate relief on weekends?

When you are told your body is having trouble absorbing things, what can you do, especially if you have a history of chronic constipation and a sensation of a lump at the base of your colon/rectum, despite having a diagnosis of MS and undergoing tests like colonoscopy and sigmoidoscopy with no serious findings?
