I've had a strange sensation on the left side of my body for the past 3 years. It's not painful, feels almost ticklish, and is not in my muscles but in my brain. It prevents deep breaths and yawning, and I trip more on my left foot. I'm concerned due to family history of Parkinson's disease. What could be causing this sensation and what can I do about it?

If I contracted HIV 6 years ago from protected sex with a female, would I possibly have any symptoms by now? I have had no symptoms of HIV and have not been tested for HIV. My recent blood tests and liver function tests show normal results, but I read that globulin tends to be high if HIV is present. What are your thoughts?

I am going in for a colonoscopy tomorrow morning. Can you tell me what to expect? My doctor says I probably won't remember it. Does it typically hurt? How long does it take? Are there any major risks involved? After the procedure, can I drink water? What would be the treatment for a benign polyp in the colon? How long is the recovery time after a polypectomy? Are fiber capsules better than the fiber powder you mix with water, or are they the same?
