I was in the shower and felt sick in the stomach, followed by fading vision, weakness, dizziness, and difficulty breathing. I had to hold onto the shower door and eventually turned the water to cold to regain my vision. I was shaking for about 20 minutes afterward. I'm a teen on a higher dosage of new prescription pills (Brevinor-1, gastrosoothe, noriday, ponstan, and tranexamic acid). What could this have been?

I have a constant sweet, yucky taste in my mouth and the same awful smell in my nose. I have had an MRI brain scan with okay results, blood tests showing normal kidney and liver function, normal sugar and ketones levels, and a slightly high cholesterol level. I have had this condition for two months now. I am 69 years old, physically active, living on a farm, and have a history of breast cancer surgery in 2011 and a massive accident involving multiple breaks in 2013. I also have a slight sliding hiatus hernia with no acid reflux and take pariet at night. What could be causing these symptoms and what should I do?

Dr. Love, I'm concerned that the surgeon didn't remove the second pocket of lymph nodes and that my lobular cancer was dividing too slowly for the chemo. Do you think radiation can effectively treat slower-dividing cancers like lobular, and will the AI treatments work to catch any missed cancer cells?

I'm experiencing a pulsating, pounding, or throbbing sensation in my ears that seems to be caused by pressure. It's reasonably regular in rhythm and has been occurring at irregular intervals, often associated with being too hot or dehydrated. Recently, it has been present almost constantly. What could be causing this and should I be concerned about potential heart-related issues?

Dr. Stan, my mom has had 1 Lucentis injection for AMD, and an eye scan revealed that the peripheral portion of the scarring is dissolving and the overall area of damage has shrunk. The inflammation has also reduced significantly. Given this improvement, do you think she needs only one more injection or does she need a longer-term treatment? Will the scar keep dissolving?
