I was on hydrocodone 7.5 for chronic back pain, but my doctor retired and I can't find a local doctor to prescribe it due to the opioid crisis. My back pain started about 3 years ago, has worsened over time, and is sharp and stabbing. I also experience numbness down my left leg. I have heart problems, can't undergo more surgery, and am a diabetic on disability.

I have had mild throbbing in my hands for months, which initially felt very achy and now feels like they've been warmed up quickly after being in cold temperatures. I am 5 months postpartum, have had an MRI and bloodwork with normal results, and do not believe it is carpal tunnel. What could be causing this?

My son has a 2-inch vertical gash on the inside of his lower arm, approximately 1/2 inch deep. It was cleaned, taped, and bandaged by a nurse yesterday. I'm concerned about the depth and whether he needs immediate hospital treatment for potential tendon or nerve damage. Should we wait until Monday to see our family doctor, or does this require urgent care? If there is damage to nerves or tendons, is it irreversible, or does the time delay affect the possibility of treatment?

I have had a swollen lymph node on my jaw for over 6 months. It's a little less than an inch, slightly movable, and stone hard. I have no other symptoms and no other swollen lymph nodes. Is this worrisome?
